Literature Text

The temperature's dropped to below freezing and my smile's quickly fading because all the warmth was sucked right out of the room when we stopped talking. I'm still saving that spot next to me in my bed, silently praying one day you'll take up my offer and fall asleep next to me.

Before I met you, I didn't have the faintest clue of what I wanted or where I was headed, but now I know that everything I've ever needed comes from you. My heart is a map and you're the treasure; X marks the spot.

Sometimes I catch myself daydreaming about what's ahead in the future and honestly I really have no clue; the only certainty is that wherever life takes me, I hope it takes me to you. They'll shut down the airport for my flight alone because they know I don't belong 12,000 feet up in the air unless the passenger next to me is you.

I'm hoping when I wake up in the morning that this isn't all a dream because I never want to lose hold of this feeling; a feeling of knowing that for once in my life, all my dreams are gathering steam and forming into reality.

Wow. Very interesting. I loved the ramblyness. Great piece.
